Wallet Size Photo Prints Online

Order premium wallet prints online with professional quality, fast turnaround, and personal service.

Yellow Lab Imaging makes it easy to order wallet size photo prints online with the care and craftsmanship of a real photo lab. Wallet prints have been a fixture of portrait sessions for as long as photography has been accessible — a few for you, a few for grandparents, one tucked behind a driver's license. That tradition hasn't gone away. It's just moved online, and we print a lot of them, especially during graduation season and around weddings.

We focus on craftsmanship, speed, and personal care. That means your images are printed with real attention to detail — not simply pushed through an automated system. We’re not local — we’re national — and we ship premium photo printing delivered across the U.S.

What Size Is a Wallet Print?

Our wallet prints measure 2.375" x 3.375" — a step up from a bare 2x3, with a bit more breathing room around the image. They come on a 7x10 sheet of eight prints, die-cut with rounded corners for a finished, professional look straight off the press. No trimming, no sharp corners.

Wallets are ordered by the sheet, and each sheet contains eight identical prints of the same image — you can't mix different photos on one sheet. Want wallets from two different photos? That's two sheet orders, sixteen prints total.

Looking for something even smaller, sized to fit behind a credit card? Our 2x3 mini print is one size down. The wallet print is the step up — more image area, a polished die-cut finish, and that classic portrait-studio look.

How Many Should I Order?

Since wallets ship by the sheet — eight prints per sheet, all from the same image — your order quantity will always be a multiple of eight. One sheet is a good starting point for a modest list: a set of grandparents, a couple of aunts and uncles, a close friend or two. Two sheets covers a wider circle — extended family, teachers, coaches, coworkers. For graduation announcements or wedding thank-you cards, where the list runs long, three or more sheets isn't unusual — and it gets cheaper per sheet the more you order from one photo:

  • 1 sheet (8 wallets): $8.50
  • 3 sheets (24 wallets): $21.95 — $7.32/sheet
  • 6 sheets (48 wallets): $39.95 — $6.66/sheet
  • 12 sheets (96 wallets): $69.95 — $5.83/sheet

If you're printing a large graduation announcement list from a single senior photo, the volume tiers above are built for exactly that.

Our honest advice: order a few more than you think you need. Wallet prints are affordable, and running short is more frustrating than having extras on hand.

Who Are Wallet Prints Best For?

  • Graduation announcements: our busiest wallet season. The announcement goes out, the wallet print goes with it, and it gets kept long after the card is recycled.
  • Wedding thank-you cards: a favorite portrait from the wedding day, printed and tucked into the thank-you note — a small gesture that carries real weight.
  • School and portrait photos: the classic use case, for teachers, coaches, grandparents, and friends.
  • Family and keepsakes: a wallet print of a new grandchild or family milestone, carried around for years.
  • Military and first responder families: a uniform portrait or family photo in wallet size, close at hand.
  • Scrapbooks and memory projects: compact, shareable, and easy to work into a layout.

File Requirements for Wallet Prints

Small prints still need good files. Here's what to check before you order:

  • Minimum resolution: at 300 dpi, our 2.375"x3.375" wallet size needs at least 713x1013 pixels — a bar that virtually any photo from the last decade will clear easily. Heavily cropped images are where people run into trouble; check pixel dimensions before ordering if you've cropped in tight.
  • Aspect ratio: wallet prints are roughly a 2:3 ratio. Most smartphone and DSLR photos shoot at 3:4 or 4:5, so a small amount of the image gets cropped when sized to fit. Review the crop position in the ordering tool before submitting — the default centers the image, which isn't always where the important part of your photo is.
  • JPEG format: what our ordering system expects, and what virtually every camera and phone produces by default. Export a JPEG from RAW or TIFF files before uploading.
  • sRGB color space: the standard for most cameras and phones. Files processed in a wide-gamut space like Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB should be converted to sRGB first, or they'll print with muted, flat color.

Paper & Finish

Our standard Lustre paper is the right choice for wallet prints. The semi-matte surface resists fingerprints — important for prints that get handled and passed around — and holds up well in card slots and billfolds where a glossy print might stick or scuff over time. We print on professional-grade archival materials with inks rated to last 100 years or more under normal display conditions.
